Camera

SoupDraw augments the camera feed that a website you visit requests. It reads video frames only in your browser, on your device, to:

• run an on-device hand-tracking model (bundled with the extension; no network),
• composite your gesture drawings onto a local canvas, and
• return that canvas as the camera stream to the site you chose.

No video, no frames, no images, and no hand data ever leave your machine. There are no network requests at runtime of any kind.

Storage

Your settings and your current drawing are saved locallyin the browser (storage.local) so they persist between sessions. This never leaves your device and is removed if you uninstall the extension.

No tracking

No analytics, no telemetry, no accounts, no cookies, no third-party services.

Permissions

• storage: to remember your settings and drawing locally (above).
• Host access (<all_urls>) and the camera interception exist so the extension can work inside any video-call site you use. It only ever composites a local canvas; it does not read or send your data anywhere.
